Learning Target:

I can use text based evidence to discuss previous chapters. I can use the writing process in order to create a personal narrative.


In Class Task #1:
Write a personal narrative describing a time you felt loss, hope, or love. Choose one. Be sure to let your own voice shine through in your writing, using verb tense, voice, imagery, and any other literary tool to keep your audience engaged. Make sure to share this document with Mrs. Hohn jhohn@tahomasd.us name the document Last Name, First Name, Personal Narrative. 

Homework:

During Week Two you will be responsible to read chapters 21-27 and complete Response Questions. Please click on the hyperlink in order to access the questions.

Journal Writing Using Text Evidence:

To complete this task, you will need to copy the Journal Writing questions and add it to your previous journal writing document. The questions need to be answered using text evidence to support whatever ideas they may have about the prompt. When using a text based evidence, make sure that you are using "quotation marks" and adding page numbers.

Vocabulary:

Throughout the novel, The Eleventh Plague, by Jeff Hirsch you will be completed a vocabulary list. Please copy and save the attached google doc. This assignment must be completed by Monday July 28th.
